React or Next.js — which do you use?

We default to Next.js for almost every project because it gives you React plus server-side rendering, file-based routing, API routes, and edge delivery in one framework. For internal tools or SPAs with no SEO requirement, plain React (Vite) is more appropriate. We'll recommend the right choice on the discovery call.

React vs WordPress — which is right for my project?

WordPress wins for content-heavy sites where a non-technical team publishes frequently and SEO is the primary goal. React/Next.js wins when you need custom functionality, a fast load time that WordPress plugins can't achieve, Stripe billing, user authentication, or a design that's genuinely custom. For most SaaS products, dashboards, and agencies that care about Core Web Vitals, React with Next.js is the better foundation.

React vs Webflow or Framer — what's the difference?

Webflow and Framer are visual builders — fast to launch for a marketing site, but you hit a ceiling quickly. They don't support custom backend logic, real-time data, auth, billing, or headless APIs without hacks. React/Next.js has no ceiling: you build exactly what you need. The trade-off is that React requires a developer, whereas Webflow does not. If your site needs more than content and visuals, React is the right choice.

Do you build SPAs or server-rendered apps?

Both. We use Next.js App Router for server-rendered sites where SEO and Core Web Vitals matter. For dashboards, portals, and internal tools where SEO is irrelevant, we build client-side SPAs.

React vs Vue vs Angular — which framework should I choose?

React is our default recommendation because of its large ecosystem, first-class TypeScript support, and Next.js on top of it. Vue is a strong alternative for smaller projects or teams with a PHP/backend background. Angular suits large enterprise teams who want strict conventions from a Java or C# background. For most London startups and SMEs, React with Next.js gives the best balance of hiring pool, performance, and tooling.

Is React good for SEO?

Plain client-side React (a single-page app) is poor for SEO because search engines receive an empty HTML shell and must execute JavaScript to see content. This is why we use Next.js for all public-facing React projects — Next.js renders pages server-side, giving Google clean HTML to index immediately. For dashboards and portals with no public SEO requirement, plain React is perfectly suitable.

What is the typical architecture for a React SaaS application?

Our standard SaaS stack is: Next.js App Router (frontend and API routes), Supabase (PostgreSQL database and auth), Stripe (billing), and Vercel (deployment). For larger platforms with more complex data requirements, we use Prisma with a dedicated PostgreSQL instance and Clerk for authentication.
