What does a website maintenance plan include?
Our maintenance plans cover: monthly WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates (tested on staging first); daily automated backups stored off-site; security monitoring and malware scanning; 24/7 uptime monitoring; monthly Core Web Vitals performance checks; a monthly allocation of content changes; and a plain-English monthly report. Higher-tier plans include more content change hours and priority response times.
Do you only maintain WordPress websites?
WordPress is our most common maintenance platform, but we also maintain Webflow, Framer, Shopify, and custom Next.js sites. The exact services vary by platform, for example, Webflow and Framer don't have plugin updates to manage, but we still handle backups, performance monitoring, content changes, and uptime alerts.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
Clients on a care plan get priority response within 2 business hours. We isolate the site, clean the infection using Sucuri or Wordfence, restore from the most recent clean backup if needed, and patch the vulnerability that allowed entry. We then apply additional hardening and provide a written incident report.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. All our maintenance plans are monthly rolling, no long-term contracts. Cancel with 30 days' notice. We'll hand over full access to all accounts, backup files, and documentation.
How much does website maintenance cost?
Our basic plan starts from around £99/month and covers security monitoring, backups, and updates. A standard plan with content changes typically runs £150–£300/month. Enterprise plans with dedicated support, daily updates, and extensive content allocation start from £500/month. All plans are rolling monthly, no annual lock-in.
What if I just need occasional help, not a monthly plan?
We offer ad-hoc support at an hourly rate for businesses that only need occasional help. This covers one-off updates, emergency fixes, plugin conflicts, or content changes outside a retainer. Clients on a monthly plan get significantly better response times and priority scheduling.
